About the Dreamcast version, I am installing now the devkit and hope to get something to work on it.
I never did any Dreamcast programming, but there is a start to everything.

I am happy to announce that the final game will have shadows for all objects on all levels.

They can be seen in the picture above on the background and the windows.
This adds a lot of depth to the game.

The development is progressing well, and the next milestone will be the completion of all the game characters.
There are around 6 or 7 left, which should take around 4 months hopefully.

The end game will have around 16 enemies, excluding variations.

With variations, it will be around 26. Plus the 6 bosses it will be something around 32 characters.

​Above is the final look of Spider. He'll be very dangerous and will add it's unique attack patterns to the game.

Each enemy is done to have unique pattern, and render situation dangerous when combined with other characters enemies with different patterns so that they complement each other and make the situation difficult for Dan.

This special enemy will be bouncing all over the place, as well as performing long range clawing attacks.

Bellow is the Kendo man, he'll have a very fast and blocking attack. And will be able to change planes.
Kendo man will also be one of the later levels enemies, starting mission 3.

Final boss the Shadow Lord AI is done, and it is a fantastic fight, but also the most dangerous encounter for Dan of course.
But there is plan to have infinite continues, so that after consuming all lifes with an end of mission boss, you can continue from the previous level, and reach the boss quickly again.

He'll be showing only in the later levels, starting mission 3. (level 9)

Code side of the final battle is getting done.
It will be an epic final, with the most powerful boss of the game.

There will be also a big emphasis on story in Shadow Gangs, to make player get closer to the main character Dan and his mission.
